Obituary

Jacob W. Hoff, 76, of Port Orange, passed away on November 25 at his home. He was a native of Franzfeld, Yugoslavia and came to the United States in 1956 from France. Jake lived in Mansfield, OH from 1960-1975, where he worked as a deputy sheriff. He then moved to Port Orange in 1975 and was a retired grocery store meat cutter. Mr. Hoff proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. His hobbies included fishing, cooking and bowling. Jacob was a member of the American Bowling Association and was an accomplished bowler, having bowled several perfect 300 games.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Suzanna & Jakob Hoff and his sister in law Martha Hoff.
Jacob leaves behind to cherish his memory, his life partner, Karen Smith Rubino, step daughters, Kerry (Walter) Hickox, Paula (Bob Bloomer) Circelli, and Jacki Rubino, brother Jerry Max Hoff & his life partner, Carol Sneeringer, sister, Helen Widman, several nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will celebrate his life on Thursday from 11 to 1, with interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Baldwin Brothers, Port Orange is in charge of arrangements.
