Obituary

Jacqueline Evermonde, 80, of South Daytona, Florida passed peacefully from this life, and gained her angel wings on Saturday July 23, 2022.

Jackie, as she was lovingly called, was born in Weehawken, New Jersey on December 28, 1941, to the late Giacamo and Peggy Spano.

She married her beloved husband James and ultimately relocated to the Daytona Beach area to raise their children, James, and Dominique.  Jackie attended college and graduated with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting.  She spent her career either in a dental office or assisting students at Daytona State College.

Jackie was a loving daughter, mother, and nana.  She was adored by many, and affectionately referred to as the “Mayor” of her community.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Evermonde, her parents Giacamo and Peggy Spano, and her brothers Dominic Spano and Walter Spano.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Dominique Evermonde, her son James Evermonde, her granddaughter, Michaela Evermonde and her brother Giacamo “Jack” Spano.

A Celebration of Jackie’s life is scheduled for Sunday July 31, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, located at 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested for contributions be made in Jackie’s memory to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32129.

Jackie was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend. She had such a good heart and would light up any room she was in. I am sadden to see her go but grateful that I got to be a part of her life. Her pain and suffering has ended but her love and memory will last a lifetime. ❤️

    Your Mother
    Is Always With You.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk
down the street, she's the smell of certain
foods you remember, flowers you pick,
the fragrance of life itself. She's the cool
hand on your brow when you're not feeling
well, she's your breath in the air on a
cold winter's day. She is the sound of the
rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors
of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning.
Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She's the place you came from, your first
home, and she's the map you follow with
every step you take. She's your first love,
your first friend, even your first enemy,
but nothing on Earth can seperate you.
Not time, not space. not even death.

May your light continue to shine now and always….we will miss you forever
