Obituary
Jacquelyne Hendrix-Wolcott “Jackie”, age 86 of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
Born on August 22, 1934 to Charlotte and Anthony Bohn, Jackie grew up in St. Louis, Missouri.
She proudly attended Ursuline Academy, an all-girls high school and excelled in her studies. Jackie met her husband James in 1955 and they were married on November 24, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri. The couple were married for nearly 35 years, raised four children, enjoyed attending their children’s swim meets, hosting social gatherings and winning local dance competitions. Jackie worked at the Titusville Chamber of Commerce and later in the hospitality industry. She retired in 1991 following the passing of her husband James.
In 1997, Jackie met Charles Wolcott. The two were great companions and were married on October 10, 1998. The couple was very involved with the Diocese of Orlando serving as Eucharistic ministers.
Jackie loved her family very much, loved to laugh and joke around with those close to her.
Jackie is survived by her daughter Mary Anderson, son-in-law Scott, son James Hendrix, daughter Tammy Powers, son Michael Hendrix, daughter-in-law Holly and Charles Wolcott, her husband of 22 years.
She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlotte and Anthony Bohn and her late husband James Hendrix.
Jackie’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. James Catholic Cathedral in Orlando, Florida at 2:00 PM. St. James Catholic Cathedral is located at 215 N. Orange Avenue Orlando, Florida 32801. Complimentary parking is located at the Jefferson St. Garage located at 62 W. Jefferson Street Orlando, Florida 32801.
