Jackie loved to travel, whether back to Michigan to visit family, friends, and the family farm in Litchfield, or family/extended family in California, Montana and beautiful memories traveling all over the world.  She loved music, especially Mozart and Beethoven, enjoyed flowers, birds, and working outdoors.  Jackie is especially remembered for her sense of humor, spontaneous songs, sarcasm and beautiful smile.

Mrs. Kessler, you always told me I was a gifted writer but words fail me in expressing the hurt that comes with your transition. I am so grateful for my time with you. You taught me things that not only got me through your 5th grade gifted class, but also prepared me for life. You were never more than a phone call away and even on my darkest days, you were my ray of sunlight. Thank you for checking on me, always encouraging me, always reminding me that you were so proud of me. I love you so very much and I am comforted in knowing that you genuinely loved me too. Thank you for the gift of YOU. ❤️

    Dear Jackie,
It’s hard to say goodbye to my best friend. I will always cherish my memories of being together…. college friends, sorority sisters, maid of honor at my wedding. Gone but not forgotten. You will always have a special place in my heart.
    Love,
    Jan Campbell.

My Dear Jackie, words cannot begin to tell the story of how grateful I am for all the years I had the good fortune of having you in my life. I, my family and the world are so blessed to have you as a mother, friend, teacher, confidant and so much more. Your thoughtfulness and kindness to and for others was nothing short of amazing, even in the darkest of times. You have changed our lives in wonderful and immeasurable ways...forever!

I love you, Jackie. I always will.

    Gary

I will be grateful for eternity that Jackie found her way to our family and I was able to live my life alongside hers. She was a model to us all; embodying compassion and optimism where there should be none. Selfishly I also morn the person inside of me that only she saw.

I will miss our stolen conversations on couches in quiet spaces during our busy visits; I find myself now wishing I had spoken less and listened more.

    I love you, Jack.
