Obituary

Jim was born in Rochester, NY and attended West High School. He served in the Navy after graduation, and using the GI Bill, he graduated from SUNY Brockport and SUNY Cortland with a master's degree. His teaching career was spent in the Fairport, NY schools. Marjorie (Gee), his wife of 58 years is missing him badly. Other survivors include son Stephen of Sandy Creek, NY, and Patricia of Northbrook, IL who made him so proud, and gave him three grandchildren to love. After retiring to Ormond Beach, FL, Jim spent many happy hours with good friends at Riviera Golf Club. Special thanks go to all those in our "adopted family" at Coquina Place who took care of him with such kindness and compassion. Because he was an avid reader it seems appropriate for those who wish to send memorials to the Friends of the Ormond Regional Library 30 South Beach Street Ormond Beach FL 32174.
