Celebration of Life for James Alan Curnett who died Saturday, November 14, 2009 will be 7:00 PM Wednesday Baldwin Brothers Memorial Chapel North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until service time.
James was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to this area in 1999. He served our nation in the US Navy in Vietnam. He worked as a finish carpenter for the past 40 years, was an avid fisherman in Mosquito Lagoon and a history buff, especially American history. His wife and children remember his love and enjoyment of spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Gaynell, son Ernest M Curnett, II of Plymouth, MI, daughter Gaynell Kay Baumler of Birch Run, MI, brother R Martin Curnett of Rockwood, MI, sister Sandy Schlegel of East Tawas City, MI and grandchildren Jessica, Jacob and Emily Alterman, and Miles and Maxwell Curnett.
