Obituary
James Joseph Foley III, born on November 18, 1963, in Christiana, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, in Leesburg, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will forever resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.
Jim was a dedicated sales consultant for Luv-A-Lawn Lawn and Pest Control Services. His commitment to his work mirrored his dedication to family and friends; he approached every task with an unwavering spirit and a smile that could light up any room. Jim’s colleagues admired not only his professionalism but also the warmth he brought into their lives—a testament to the loving friend he was.
Above all else, Jim cherished time spent with his children: Timothy Foley, Shannon Foley, Randal Foley; step-daughter Haley Manning; and grandson James Danielski. Whether it was enjoying sunny days at the beach or cheering passionately at sporting events—his laughter echoing through each moment—he created memories that will be treasured forever. Cooking on the grill at home became more than just preparing meals; it was about gathering loved ones around him to share stories and create bonds that would last a lifetime.
For many years, Jim bravely battled leiomyosarcoma with remarkable strength and determination with his fiance, Christine Manning and his children by his side. Even as complications from this relentless disease overtook his body, he continued to fight valiantly until his last breath—a true warrior whose spirit never wavered despite life’s challenges.
His absence has left an irreplaceable void in our lives; however, we find solace knowing that Jim’s love remains etched in our hearts eternally. As we navigate this profound loss together as family and friends who adored him deeply—we hold onto the countless moments shared—the laughter exchanged—and lessons learned from such an extraordinary man.
A memorial service honoring Jim’s life will be announced once plans are finalized. In lieu of flowers or gifts during this difficult time for our family—please consider making donations towards cancer research organizations close to your heart so others may benefit from advancements made possible by individuals like him who fought tirelessly against illness while inspiring everyone around them along their journey through life’s trials.
James Joseph Foley III may have departed from this world—but he will always live on within us—in every cherished memory—and every act of kindness inspired by his enduring spirit.
