Obituary
James Henry Goodlett, 64, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, he was born on September 21, 1957, in Miami, Florida. In 2005, following his retirement with the Dade County Department of Corrections he moved to Ocala to join his family who had all relocated from Miami. He was a member at Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala and the Gideon Society. He was a faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and loved being involved with his church. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
James is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ormond Goodlett.
He is survived by his mother Clara Marie Lauderdale, stepmother Patricia C. Goodlett, his brother Robert Owen Goodlett, sister-in-law Debra Goodlett, nephew Justin Goodlett and Uncle and Aunt, Stanley and Gladys Pinder.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the service beginning at 11:00 am.
