Obituary

James R. Hager, 74, of Edgewater Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19th, at Advent Health Hospital in New Smyrna Beach Florida after a brief illness. Mr. Hager was born October 4, 1948 to Kenneth R. Hager and Avis A. Hager (Ames) in Oswego, New York. Mr. Hager was a long time employee of Niagara Mohawk (National Grid). He was a graduate of Mexico (NY) High School and received a Bachelor Degree in Art from SUNY Potsdam. He is survived by a sister in law, Nelda G. Hager of Sandy Creek, New York, a nephew, Verrick E. Hager of Mexico, New York and a niece, Vicky S. DeCare (Hager) of Sandy Creek, New York. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Robert C. Hager. There are no calling hours or funeral services.

    I will always remember all the fun we have had over the years. All the laughs, trips, dinners, holidays and especially the apple crisps!!! Rest in peace my friend.

    I'll never forget all the fun and laughs we had together good friend. Now make sure that SU Men's Basketball team gets back on track and keep an eye on Maddon as he moves through his baseball career. Rest in peace Roxie.
