While we did not know Jimmy very personally, but we are from the Chicago suburbs and he was our waiter at Nice Guys Pizza in Cape Coral two summers ago. He was a very kind man and was very nice to our son who was 9 at the time. He made an impression on us and we chatted about guitars and he offered advice on guitars to my son. We looked for him last year on vacation but he must have moved on from Nice Guys. We were sad. I still have a business card he gave me. What a loss. It’s rare someone you meet for a very short amount of time makes an impression that you remember even two years later. God rest his soul and watch after his babies.

Met Jimmy 2 years ago at Big ten .we immediately enjoyed spending time there because of him. He was a very lovable guy. We even searched thrift stores for old phones for his microphone projects. On one of first visits there my hubby (a Vietnam vet) told Jimmy straighten up soldier he was slumping over a drink he was making lolll and since then when he would see us he would always stand at attention and salute him. We got to know him so well my hubby would tell people he was his third son from his fourth marriage as a joke but patrons thought it was true. He called us Mom n Dad when we would see him as an ongoing joke. We will truly miss him and his kind heart. He made us feel welcome everywhere we would see him. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him our deepest sympathy to his family and children.

Jimmy, I loved you like you were my little brother! We went through a lot of tough times together. However, they will never outweigh the good times we spend together. You were an amazing person who knew how to light up the room. You had this special gift to make people feel comfortable and could bring a smile to anyone’s face who you came in contact with. I will always keep you close to my heart, Rest in Peace brother. I’ll see you on the other side.

Jimmy....you were my more than a brother. You knew everything about my life and always loves me know matter what....this wound will take years to bounce back from....I wake up and want to call you and it breaks my heart that I can't. You touched so many lives and people are heartbroken that you're not here....I know you're with God. You're kids will grow up with tons of love and support around them from the family. There are no words to explain what this did to me
