Obituary
James “Jim” G. LaMarr, 71, passed away Saturday, May 22,2021 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born Friday, February 10, 1950, in Muncie, Indiana to parents James LaMarr and Oleva Prutzman.
Jim was a very talented artist and expressed his love for art as a comic strip illustrator for the comic strip “Tumbleweeds”. He would go on to work on restoring boats where he continued to make art in restoring the fiberglass of the boats.
Jim was very tall and handsome and would be described as a “head turner”. He loved people and had the best ability to be able to connect and talk to anyone – particularly the ladies! He loved his family and friends and was very close with them. His sister Sue and he were very close in age and grew up as best friends, and though they went their separate ways as they got older, he would always stay in touch with her.
Jim was predeceased by his father and mother, James LaMarr and Oleva Prutzman. Jim is survived by his sister, Sue Lawford, brother-in-law, Dewayne Lawford, sister, Michelle LaMarr, and nieces, Michelle McFarland and Angie Haynes.
Jim is so dearly loved by his family and friends, and he will be missed greatly. He is in a much better place and is finally at peace!
