Obituary

James L. “Jim” Nipper, 78, of Lake Mary, passed away June 6, 2018. Born on August 25, 1939, in Garber, Oklahoma, Jim lived in Tennessee, Kansas, Colorado, California, Texas, and Florida. Jim was a buyer for Sears in Texas and Florida; he worked for Sears for 25 years. In retirement, Jim enjoyed wood working, gardening, and he tried his best to conquer cyber space. Jim had an interest in all things that dealt with history and was always trying to learn more.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Dorothy, his sister Margaret who resides in California, his daughter Leslie from New York, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

    I will miss his friendship since he retired. He was a great boss and buddy,quick wit always. His homemade reindeer made our front yard look very festive for many years. I wish you well Dorthy as his loving wife ,may god bless you . Jim and Kathy

    I am saddened to hear of Nip’s passing. I worked for him at Sears and he always treated people with great respect and dignity. Very fun person to be around.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Really anyone who knew Jim this is a huge loss. What a great guy Jim was as u well know. I wil miss him dearly.
