Obituary

James “Jimmy” McIntyre, age 60, of Lady Lake, FL, passed away on May 8, 2022 at The Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages, FL. Jimmy was born on February 6, 1962 to his parents, John and Barbara McIntyre in Dearborn, MI.

Jimmy is survived by his parents John and Barbara, his wife of 31 years, Nina, of Dearborn, MI; his three sons, Jesse (Krystal), Dylan, and Lucas, all of which he was so proud; his grandson, Alden who he adored; as well as his sister, Shawn (Steve). Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Michael.

His family and his Orange Blossom golfing brothers will miss his generous spirit and sense of humor, he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A memorial service is to be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 with a gathering of family and friends to start at 1PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Services, 1008 Bichara Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159 with Deacon Rich Kaseta officiating a brief service at 2 PM. All are welcome to attend. The family is requesting no flowers.

    Many great memories with Jim playing golf with the group on Sundays and playing in golf tournaments over the last two years and having a few beers afterwards. Jim was my best friend and like a brother to me. He will be greatly missed.

    Fun Memories: Jimmy Mac hits a drive off the Tee. Then, the next thing you hear him say is “POW”! When you drive up to his ball (which is past Sean’s or Jimmy G’s) He follows that, by saying “Is that all you guys have?”
    It will not be the same for me, not seeing Nina & Jim, together at the golf course, on my work days.
    Jimmy’s laughter will be missed by all…..

    Jimmy and Nina shared a very quick and witty sense of humor together- and laughter was never in short supply. When Jim started laughing, it just got bigger and bigger until everyone in the room was laughing along with him. What a gift to give and to leave behind for us all.

    Fun Memory: At OB one afternoon, Vince asked Jimmy why he wore higher length socks instead of ankle socks??? Jimmy jumped out of his bar stool and began to strut around ( with his man purse) at the bar saying..."Look at these calves!! Look at these perfect calves!!! The higher socks make them look sooo gooood!" Loved sharing lots of laughs with a very sweet man. We will miss you Jimmy Mac!
