Obituary
James Douglas Snodgrass, (Jim) was born July 14, 1954. He was the son of the late Douglas Lee Snodgrass and brother of the late Joseph Alan Snodgrass. He passed away far too soon on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022, at the age of 68 from sudden heart failure.
James is survived by his Wife: Billie Snodgrass of Ormond Beach, Fl; 3 Daughters: Terra (Snodgrass) Fisher of Charleston, West Virginia (Husband: Bo Fisher), Jina (Snodgrass) Hayes of Palm Coast, Florida (Husband: Roger Hayes), and Christina (Snodgrass) Piggott of Ormond Beach, Florida (Husband: Alex Piggott); Mother: Marie (Barnett) Snodgrass; Sister: Deborah (Snodgrass) Elswick (Husband: Ronnie Elswick); Brother: Eric Snodgrass (Wife: Lisa Snodgrass), 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, as well as much more extended family and friends.
James was a man of many skills. He was a carpenter, a roofer, and a very talented electrician just to name a few. He was well known for his humor, honesty, work ethic, and his love of Mountaineer football season. He loved hunting, fishing, cars, and anything that involved being outdoors! He was a member of the North Ormond Beach Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He has served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses faithfully for most of his life. His family and friends look forward to the day they can see him again. The joy of the Bible’s promise of a resurrection and a perfect paradise on Earth brought him comfort and now brings his family and friends comfort too.
The family wants to thank everyone for all the loving thoughts, calls, cards, and prayers sent our way. Jim was a man who knew no strangers and he is going to be missed beyond measures.
