Obituary

James Wallace Whigham, age 77, of Laurel, MS, passed away suddenly and peacefully on October 19, 2022 at home in Ocala, FL. He was born on November 3, 1944 to his parents, William Allen Whigham and Coreen Whigham in Mobile, AL.

He was a Master Carpenter and Woodworker in his trade. He had a deep passion for building things and bringing joy to others. He was a wise man and he loved his family with all of his heart. His deepest desire was that his family know the Lord and be reunited with him in heaven. It was his daily prayer. He truly believed it was his calling to be an example to his family and to teach them the love of the Lord through his example.

James is survived by his Wife, Francie Kay Whigham AKA “Sweetie”, of Ocala, FL; 3 Children, Mary Soto, Darrell Randle and Terri Randle; and his 14 Grandchildren, Latasha, Sarah, Brandon, David, Weldon, Stephen, Chad, Andrew, Robert, Katie, Nathan, Destiny, Emilia and Aaron and his 6 Great Grandchildren, Nathan, Isabella, Ethen, David, Aiden and Jason

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, 6 Siblings, and 2 sons, Allen Whigham and James Whigham.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday October 22, 2022 at his home in Ocala, FL.
