Obituary
Jami Sue Cameron, 54, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on April 3, 2018 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH to Lawrence and Sharon Russell. Jami was the second Nurse Practitioner for the NICU at Lee Memorial Health System, where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing tennis for USTA, scrapbooking, interior decorating, baking, boating, and sunsets on the beach. Jami is survived by her loving husband, Ian Cameron of Ft. Myers, FL; her daughter, Christie Hallman Bergljung and son in law, Christopher Bergljung of Plantation, FL; her father and mother, Lawrence and Sharon Russell of Ft. Myers, FL; her brothers, Jeff Russell of Port Charlotte, FL and James Russell of Brandon, FL; and her step-daughter, Amanda Cameron Ortiz of Otto, NC; A Celebration of life for Jami will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at the New Hope Presbyterian, 10051 Plantation Road, Fort Myers, FL 33966. In lieu of flowers, Jami requested that donation be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Ft. Myers, FL.
