Obituary
Jan Ellyn Black, 61, of Estero, FL passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was born January 2, 1956 in Manhattan, NY to the late Casmier and Margaret Kaust. Jan was the most beautiful, kind, and generous soul in the world. She was as gorgeous on the inside as she was on the outside. Aside from being the best mom and loving her daughters above anything else, Jan had a passion for people; she enjoyed helping and taking care of others. In her spare time Jan enjoyed going to the beach, watching sunsets, swimming and spending time with her favorite “little guy,” taking vacations with her family, and spoiling four-legged friends. She was also a fan of the Florida Gators, Miami Dolphins, and Florida Marlins. Jan will be missed beyond measure, but we take solace in knowing that she is still with us every step of the way. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.” – Unknown She is survived by loving daughters, Christy Vaill (Matt) and Kerry Black; grandson, Carter Vaill; grandchildren-in-law, Jonnah Vaill and Jordyn Vaill; sisters, Karyn and Lori Damis (Warren); nephews, Adam (Tanya), Casey Lindemuth, and Bryan Damis (Penney); niece, Jill Fountain; as well as great nieces and nephews; Savannah Jones (Brice), Ethan Mershon, Tristan Mershon, Joshua Fountain, Jason Lindemuth, Eamon Damis, and Ryan Weise. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local humane society in Jan’s name, as she was passionate about animals. Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.
