Obituary

Sarah “Jane” Kirk was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 30, 1931 to loving parents Iva and James Kirk.  On October 14, 2017, at the age of 85, she peacefully passed away at Hope Hospice Healthcare in Cape Coral, Florida.

She married Joseph E. Koshko, September 1, 1951 and lived in Michigan until 1959 when she, her husband and 4 children moved to North Fort Myers, Florida.  Jane worked diligently cleaning new construction houses and built their Florida home in Waterway Estates where she happily resided for the past 54 years.  After moving into this home she had 2 more children.  She enjoyed people, making friends and continued to work as a bartender until retirement.

She enjoyed life to the fullest.  She would often turn up the music and we would all dance around the house.  Over the years you could often find her at the beach, fishing, boating, enjoying friends, and cooking fantastic meals.  Her home and family were her main focus.  She was a very loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor and friend to many.   Holidays at her home always brought us together for wonderful food and cherished memories.  She has always been, and always will be, The Heart of Our Family… Our Precious Mother, We Will Love YOU Forever.

is survived by:  Her brother James (Linda) Kirk;

Six Children: Sandy Harkey; Denise Case; Christal (Jeff) Klingensmith; Kirk Koshko; JoAnn Koshko and Kathleen “Kitty” Koshko;

She is preceded in death by her parents Iva and James Kirk; husband Joseph E. Koshko; brother Dale (Dorothy) Secord; aunts; uncles; cousins and friends.

She is dearly loved and will be sorely missed by her family.   There will be a private family service on Saturday, October 21, 2017.  Friends are invited to celebrate her life at her home on October 21, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
