Obituary

Life Celebration for Janet D Hobbs, 90, Edgewater FL who passed away November 16, 2016 will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL.

Janet passed peacefully with nieces Debbie Zeiler and Stephanie Corley at her bedside.  She is survived by sisters Jean Watson, Gloria Trenton, 4 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Edward.

Janet was a longtime resident of Edgewater and remained active in the First United Methodist Church New Smyrna Beach. She enjoyed crafting, collecting clowns, photography, bowling and was a lifelong organist.

In lieu of other remembrances donations are requested to First United Methodist Church 310 Douglas Street New Smyrna Beach FL 32168.

    I was saddened to hear about the passing of cousin Janet but was so glad that she was able to finally rest in peace. My and Bobs' birthday' will never be the same without her phone call to wish us a happy day. We are grateful
    for having her in our lives.

    Jan was a fun-loving friend that could never stand still if music was playing. She loved to dance! I will surely miss our lunches and the many good times we had together.
