Janice R Berry, age 56, a resident of Edgewater, FL, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Monday, February 6, 2023. Janice loved the beach, calling her time spent there, “my salt therapy”. She enjoyed gardening, baking, fishing, watching Patriots games, traveling, and sharing good times with her friends. She loved her children dearly and truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Little Man and Olivia. Janice was a social butterfly, making such a beautiful impact on all the lives she touched; to know her is to love her. She was an incredibly generous person and a true and caring friend to many. She will be remembered for her kindness and beautiful eyes and smile.
In addition to her mother, Janice is survived by her sister Donna Berry of Bridgewater MA, her loving daughter, Koren McDonald and her husband Ty, her cherished son Jared Westberg, her adored grandchildren, Landon and Olivia McDonald, all of Edgewater, FL. She was predeceased by her sister Christine M Berry and her longtime companion, Scott “Wes” Westberg. Janice is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Baldwin Brothers-New Smyrna Beach, 1 N Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL on Friday, February 17th from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice, or you may plant a tree in Janice’s memory.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as you process the loss of Janice. Know that we are sending you love and big hugs.
Place them in my Sister’s arms and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day.
But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.
I love and miss you, Janice. You are always in my heart.
Love,
Jean & Brian
