Janice A Griffin, born to the late Robert and Hazel Townsend, May 31, 1952 in Courtland, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the age of 70 years old in  New Smyrna Beach, Fl where she resided and called home.

Jan was a loving mother of four and Nana to seven grandchildren, including one great-grandchild.  She was also a loving Nana to all the children in her life.

Jan is survived by she son, Wayne Heath (Danielle); daughters, Lori Griffin, Kelly Griffin and Penny Godshalk (Justin) ; grandchildren, Rebekah Bogart and Christyen Roggow, Jessica and  Cassandra McCall, Destiny, Justin Jr, and Janice Godshalk and great granddaughter Lydia Sullivan; siblings, Robert Townsend and Joan Reed, both of whom reside in NY.Those who knew Jan can attest that she had a heart of gold, loved unconditionally and had an infatuation with anything Butterfly!

To honor Jan, a woman who will be missed tremendously with the imprint she left on our hearts, the family will be holding her Celebration of Life at a later date.
