Janice Marie Still Mastny passed away peacefully on October 6, 2018, at the age of 56, surrounded by her extensive family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and auntie.
She was born on March 22, 1962 to Frank and Elizabeth Still in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From an early age she was curious, bright, and caring. She moved to New Smyrna with her parents and siblings at the age of 13. She attended NSB Junior High, NSB High School, and 3 years of college at Daytona Beach Community College.
After college she met William Loyd Mastny and they were married on May 31, 1986. They had 2 children, Brandon and Brittani, and were happily married for 32 years, until she passed.
Professionally, Janice held many jobs throughout her life, many involving accounting and numbers. Her latest was Office Manager for an appliance repair company. She was just as devoted to her profession as she was her family.
In her off time she enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, and playing video games. Anything that kept her mind active and involved in problem solving. She also enjoyed going to the theme parks, especially when any children were included. She loved to see the joy on their face and was like a kid herself whenever they were near.
