JC Dye, 89 of New Smyrna Beach died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Halifax Medical Center. JC was born April 22, 1921 in Holcome, Missouri. For most of his life he ran a Small Motors business in California until he moved to New Smyrna Beach to live with his daughter 15 years ago. JC was an avid pool player and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his two devoted daughters and step-daughter, Joy Kean and Judy Halcomb of Samsula, FL and Jewel Filion of Carlsbad, CA; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Molbey and Doris Goodwin both of MO; two brothers, Marvin Dye of Cruthersville, MO and Richard Carter of San Diego, CA and two very good friends, Dave and Jim Tharp.
