Obituary

Jeanette Joy Graham Finke was born in Hartford, Connecticut November 13, 1931. She moved to Florida in 1978. She was married to Charles “Bud” Finke July 26, 1952. Their union produced Nadine Finke, Guy Finke, Neil Finke, Gail Leclerc Roberts, Nancy Finke, Grace Finke Carnley and a foster child Peg Thatcher. There are 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She loved to watch people, enjoyed the beach and fishing on the river. Jeanette worked as an LPN for severely handicapped children while raising her family.

Memorial donations are requested to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia 4240 S Ridgewood Avenue Edgewater FL 32141. 

Life Celebration gathering will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 26 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach.

    It was a pleasure getting to know Jeanette (mom) for the past 17 years or so. Being the husband of one of her wonderful daughters (Gail) gives me pause to reflect on the qualities she passed on as a mother and seeing what a loving Grandmother she was to all of her Grandchildren. She was blessed to have such wonderful children and I feel fortunate to have had her as a part of my life. She was also blessed to have had her daughter Grace lovingly watch over and care for her these past few years. Thank you Grace and Cliff.
