Obituary

Joan Lillian Sicard Caruso (nee Sasseville) died after a brief illness on November 25, 2019 in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 90.


Joan is survived by her husband, Rocco Caruso of Fort Myers, Florida,  her children, Linda Sicard, Gene Sicard (Terry) and Joann Sicard Manhardt (Ken), her grandsons Paul Sicard (Melissa) and Eric Sicard and her sister Madeleine Rebstock (Sasseville) of Ft Myers, FL. 


Joan was born in Webster Massachusetts, then raised in Aldenville Massachusetts. In 1949 She married Joel G Sicard, and moved to Hicksville Long Island, New York, in 1953 where she raised her 3 children.


Over her life she worked as an executive secretary, including for Grumman Aerospace. Joan loved to travel, and was active in the Catholic Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister.  She enjoyed Golfing, Playing Bunco and Dancing at Seven Lakes Community in Ft Myers, Florida where she and husband Rocco Caruso retired. 


A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2019 at:
