I was so sad to hear of Jeanne’s passing. I have many fond memories of her from my childhood, spending time at her home in Troy. She was always a devoted and thoughtful mother, welcoming me into their home with such kindness. I remember her and Jim enjoying fun times with friends—it always felt like the perfect life in those days. Even after they moved to Latham, Jeanne remained the wonderful hostess I remembered, always making me feel right at home. Though her later years were difficult, Jeanne was surrounded by a loving husband and caring friends who supported her every step of the way. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her, and we take comfort knowing she is now at peace.
