Obituary

Jennette Brewer, 63 of Titusville, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 2nd 2024. She is survived by her four children: Steven Anderson, William Andersen,  James Andersen and Danielle Soto. Step children: Jamie Brewer, Jennifer Hernandez, BJ Brewer and Michael Brewer. Along with her 16 grandchildren. Sisters Michelle Norton and Kerry O’Brien-Henz. Stepfather: Chet O’Brien.
Jennette was born in Arlington,  Massachusetts. At a young age Jennette had her first battle with scoliosis and kyphosis. She was placed into a back brace for several years until she was straightened. She went on to a vocational school and did cosmetology throughout her high school years. She graduated high school and went on to have her 1st child. After birthing 4 children, and getting uterine and ovarian cancer she had to have spinal surgery due to her spine curving more and more after each pregnancy. With God by her side she made it through and was able to stand tall. Many years later Jennette moved to North Carolina where she met Joseph Brewer. They fell in love,  But little did Jennette know God was about to give her another storm to weather. In 2007, she lost the love of her life to cancer. She thought that would take her down a dark path. But God showed her the light when she ended up with grandchild after grandchild that year also. She put herself into all her grandbabies. Eventually going as far as moving closer to all of them down in Florida. In 2011, Jennette had another storm to weather after receiving news her grandson Joseph Hernandez had passed away. She was devastated. But God put his hand on her and gave her strength again to make it through. In 2013, she had to get another spinal surgery done. She came through that and received another grandchild as a prize. In December 2016 she faced yet another storm. She had an infection in all of her spinal hardware and it had to be removed. She almost went home to God a few times, but God said it’s not your time. Through persistence she came out 6 months later with strength of a warrior. Later on down the road, she Began having breathing issues and was diagnosed with COPD. She was eventually put on oxygen but she didn’t let that get her down. She fought the fought, until she couldn’t fight anymore. Eventually the scoliosis and kyphosis had Jennette bent in half, on full time oxygen and put into a nursing home. She was there for 3 months before passing away peacefully in her sleep.
Jennette was known for her Boston strength, love for her family and friends. She was great at baking, especially during Christmas and that will be a tradition well missed. She took after her mother in the art of crocheting too. She made beautiful blankets for her grandchildren. Jennette was a fan of Harley motorcycles and frequently rode with her husband. She was a die hard Patriots fan.
Jennette faced many storms in her lifetime but through it all had great strength. Her spirituality made her stronger. Towards the end she held onto faith to guide her and bring her home to her maker.

Her memorial services will be held on March 2nd at 11am at St Patrick’s Angelican church of Port St John, FL.

I miss you momma!!! no truer words have described
a person so perfectly. Only a warrior with your strength and ability to overcome all obstacles life throws at you could handle raising me. You proved that when life threw you me. At points I made life hell for you and the family, yet you never gave up or turned your back on me. At times I made you feel horrible and unloved, and you stayed unconditionally loving and supportive, and because of that love and support I'm still alive and a better person. I'll never be able to come to terms with not having you here to call when I'm losing it or when life tries taking me down those old dark roads. Because of that warrior spirit and unbreakable, unconditional love you gave to me, I'm now the man you always saw behind the facade of toughness and rage in my younger years. You'll always be the greatest momma, my momma!, I will miss you everyday until God calls me home. I love you momma!!! Fly high and give heaven some hell!!!!

My hearts hurts every day. I miss our long talks. I’m so very sorry I was unable to visit recently but grateful Dylan did. Know that we will love you forever. Even though you death brings sadness it also brings joy knowing you are where you wanted to be…with God, Joe, and your Mom and Dad. Save me a spot and send me a sign once in awhile. Hug to all
