Jeannette Mae Yukel Price

Jeannette Mae Yukel Price, 96, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. Born on September 18, 1929, she lived a life enriched by gardening, cooking, and a deep love for her family.
Jeannette was a devoted mother and grandmother and worked faithfully as Secretary of the Civil Service Office for many years. She took pride in her work and found joy in caring for those she loved.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott Leigh and Betson Downing III (Linda), and three grandchildren, Katherine Jeannette (Chad) Millward, Elena Maria and Robert Maxim who will continue to honor her memory.
Jeannette will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and loving devotion to family and friends.

Today we honor your life as our mother and grandmother. Even though we were unable to visit you these last few years, we have fond memories of our earlier visits when the kids were young and Larry was still with us. We now celebrate your transition to the heavenly realms of higher peace and love. As we whisper our goodbyes today, you will always be with us in our hearts. And I am certain our souls will cross paths once again in divine timing. Until then, farewell and we love you always.
