Obituary
Jeffery Joseph Learn, 64, of Port Orange, FL, passed away at his home on Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born on December 1, 1955 in Meshoppen, PA to the late Richard Bryce Learn and Virgie Baker Learn. Jeff was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army where he obtained the rank of Captain. He attended Penn State University. His true passion was sports, and he dedicated countless hours to coaching and developing his sons and other youth in the sports that he loved. Jeff was known for his big heart and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons Justin Learn of Orlando, FL, and Josh (Kathleen) Learn of Port Orange, FL; granddaughters Kamryn and Jessie Learn of Port Orange, FL; mother Virgie Learn of St. Petersburg, FL; brother Greg (Catalina) Learn of Seminole, FL; sister Larice McCann of Philadelphia, PA; and five nieces and nephews.
Jeff will be laid to rest with military honors in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL. Due to the coronavirus and current state regulations, it will be a privately held ceremony.
