Obituary
Jennifer Naylor Bartholomew, born May 19, 1978, of Winter Park, FL passed away surrounded by her family on November 16, 2016 in Orlando, FL. Jennifer graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She married her high school sweetheart John and the two began their life together. Jennifer and John’s life in the Army took them to Orlando, Korea, Germany, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Virginia, and Alabama. Jennifer supported the military as head of the Family Readiness Group (FRG) while stationed in Germany and was very active with the FRG on each post. For her service, Jennifer was recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award by President Obama. Jennifer’s kind heart and warm spirit attracted friends wherever she lived, creating an extended Army family spanning across the globe.Her passion and uncompromising love for her friends and family left a mark on every individual she met. With infectious kindness and affection, Jennifer brought joy to all who had the privilege to know her. Her incredible strength and unyielding faith in God was a true inspiration to family and friends. Jennifer and John were blessed with four loving and kind children who will undoubtedly honor her legacy of goodness and faith and love. Jennifer’s tireless devotion to her children was clear to all who knew her.Jennifer is survived by her husband John Robert Bartholomew and their four children Austin John Bartholomew, Annabelle Grace Bartholomew, Spencer Baron Bartholomew, and Sawyer Beau Bartholomew; her parents Keith Douglas Naylor, Sr. and Sally Warner Naylor; her siblings Sally Naylor McGratty (Brian), Graham Naylor Niemi (Travis), and Keith Douglas Naylor, Jr. (Jenna); her 11 nieces and nephews; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.A celebration of life will be held Monday at 11:00am, November 21, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Winter Park.
