Jeremiah J. Sullivan, 82, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. He was born on Sept. 2, 1928, in Cork, Ireland to John and Mary Brady Sullivan. He enjoyed reading, stained glass and woodwork. His favorite time was spent with friends and family, and watching his favorite TV show Jeopardy. He also enjoyed history. Jeremiah enlisted in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and proudly served his country while stationed in Okinawa. He worked as an overhead lineman for 30 years at Detroit Edison. He was a kind man who was quick to help all his neighbors and friends, and will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia; three children, Barbara (Richard) of Lake Orion, MI; Lawrence (Karen) of Tampa, FL; Jerome (Shelly) of Fraser, MI; and one grandson, Matthew. A private service in his honor will be held by the family.
