Life Celebration for Jerome Massel, 91, New Smyrna Beach. FL who died Thursday, December 2, 2010 will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. Hospice Chaplin Mark Spivey will officiate. Military Honors will be presented by the United States Air Force.
Jerome was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to this area in 1988 from Miami, Florida. He served our nation in the US Army Air Corps during WW II and retired from Pan American Airlines as a mechanic after 37 years of service from 1946 to 1982. He was a 50 year member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 140 Miami and active at Post 17 New Smyrna Beach.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 69 years Bernice, son Ed Massel and granddaughter Laura Kaiser, great grandchildren Jason Massel and Jordan Kaiser all of New Smyrna Beach.
