Obituary

Jerome San Filippo, 68, born in Brooklyn, NY passed away on February 19, 2021 in Groveland, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St Faustina Catholic Church in Clermont, FL.  Full military honor services to follow at Florida National Cemetery. Only family allowed at the cemetery due to COVID-19. Arrangements are by Baldwin Brothers Funeral home.

Jerome was married to Robin San Filippo in Brooklyn, NY. He worked on the NY subway and retired from the NY MTA.  He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Army.  He was an extremely kind, generous, funny and smart man. His creativity flowed into all that he did and he was the best at trivia. Everyone loved him and was inescapably changed by him.

Jerome is survived by his spouse, Robin San Filippo, his son David San Filippo and wife Maggie San Filippo, his daughter Rayna Seaman and husband Michael Seaman, his brother Anthony San Filippo and wife Joanne San Filippo, his sister in law Arline Silverstein and her husband Daniel Silverstein, and his grandchildren Robert San Filippo, William San Filippo, Anthony San Filippo, Brody Seaman, Thomas San Filippo, Matthew San Filippo, Sam San Filippo, Laynie Seaman and Philomena San Filippo.

The family of Jerome San Filippo wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Vitas Hospice and Marjorie.
