Obituary

Jerry Wayne Wilkerson “Shilo” went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2021 at Hospice of St. Francis. He was 69.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy, daughter, Angie, Grandchildren Mercedes, Alexis, Zakary and Great-Grandsons Henri and Noah.

Shilo was born and raised in Corbin, KY. A graduate of Lynn Camp High School. He was a Vietnam Wet. Came to Florida in 1979. A Founding member of Great Commission Fellowship 2005, where he enjoyed playing in the praise and worship band.

He loved playing guitar, fishing, and spending time with the family.

Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.

He had a heart for the homeless and the Vets. Please, in his honor donate to your favorite charity.

    Shilo was one of the most gentle souls that I have known, and a great singer and musician. Hadn’t seen him in over 25 years but I thought about him often when I would hear a song that I had heard him sing before. Sorry that I could not get to see him again here but look forward to seeing him in the Lords kingdom.
