Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jesica Glasnak.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and partner, Jesica Renee Glasnak, who left this world on October 19, 2023, at the age of 46. Jesica was surrounded by her loving family at Port Orange Hospice, where she courageously battled cancer, a fight she faced with unwavering strength and grace.

Born to Walter and Rhonda Glasnak, in Dearborn, MI, the second of three Children, Jesica and family relocated to Port Orange, FL in 1987. She grew up alongside her two devoted siblings, Julia and Steven, forging bonds that would remain throughout her life. Jesica was a loving Aunt to her niece, Aria, daughter of Sister Julia and Brother-In-Law, Lars Bienemann.

Jesica’s legacy lives on through her daughter, Hailey Lingo (with former Husband, Thad Lee Lingo). Hailey carries the beauty and intelligence of her mother, a testament to Jesica’s spirit and impact on those she held dear.

Jesica also found love and companionship in her long-time partner, Andrew Shire.  Their relationship was a source of immeasurable happiness, and together they shared countless memories, dreams and aspirations.

Jesica’s spirit will live on in the hearts of countless relatives and friends all who loved her, and her memory will continue to inspire us to live our lives with the same love and courage that she exemplified.

A celebration of Jesica’s life will be held on a date TBA, at Down the Hatch. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Port Orange Halifax Hospice in her honor, as a tribute to her unwavering spirit and her fight against cancer.

Jesica, you will be deeply missed, but your love and legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts. May you rest in peace, knowing you are loved beyond measure.
