I am very saddened to hear of Jessie's passing. We worked together at Barnett's Winter Park office in the mid-70's. We never worked together directly, yet when I first met him he introduced himself as "Tom", the name I know him by.
The "Gas Crisis" was in full swing then and he and I had many interactions about mutual customers in distress.
I remember him as a "Gentle Giant" who enjoyed smoking his pipe. It was allowed in offices then. I also remember him as a dedicated, fair, kind, decent and all-around nice guy. I truly liked and respected him.
I share in you sorrow and am sorry not to be at his memorial.
