Obituary
Jimmie Carl Stone age 63 passed at his home on May 5, 2020. Jimmie was a lifelong resident of Lockhart and attended Edgewater High School. Jim worked for many years with Semco Electric before becoming an independent electrical contractor.
Jim had a multitude of friends and always had a joke, story, trivia or opinion which he frequently shared. Among his friends, Brian Fields and family, Annie and Red Walls and family, Melvin Bush and family in addition to many others greatly supported Jim during his illness.
Jim is survived by brother, Buster Stone and his wife, Cheryl, nephew, Jerry Michael Stone, sister, Sarah Stone and cousin, Arleen Stalnaker. Also Kris Lane and his son Kash were Jim’s (Pop-Pop) extended family.
Jim was a very dedicated University of Alabama football fan and on any given day could be heard declaring “Roll Tide”. Bear Bryant’s quote, “If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride-and never quit, you’ll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the reward.” So one last time Jim Stone “Roll Tide Roll”!
Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date due to the current social restrictions.
