Obituary

Jimmy Dale Perry, age 76, passed away in his home peacefully with his son and daughter by his side on May 1st, 2021 in Silver Springs, Fl.

Jimmy Dale Perry is survived by his Children, Step Children, Sister, Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Madison Perry (Stephen) Muskegon, MI. Chaz Perry-Herrera of Muskegon, MI. Sherry Lewinski (Brad) of Saginaw MI. David McDowell (Laura) of Saginaw MI. Teri Davis (Dan) of Kawkawlin MI. Danny McDowell of Bay City MI. Mary A Taylor of Montrose MI.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Grover Perry and Alice Florence Perry, His former wife Waydean R Perry of Saginaw MI, His late wife Helen K Perry of Gladwin MI. His son Robert W Perry of Saginaw MI.

Jimmy was born on November 21st 1944 in Manila AR, to parents Robert and Alice Perry. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1962. He went to Mid-Western Baptist College where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical arts and eventually got his Master’s by correspondence course. He worked at Buick Motor Division in Flint, MI for many years. Then became a Baptist Minister at Tri-City Baptist Church in Saginaw, MI for 17 years.

Jimmy was a great family man and a loving father. He was a jokester at heart. If you asked him how he was doing he would tell you mostly every time he was pretty good more pretty than good.

Jimmy was a social, active man who was deeply involved in church for majority of his life. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. He loved watching the Detroit Tiger baseball games. His family and friends will always remember him as a humorous and loving person.
