“Jimmy Ray Landis, 54, of Saint Cloud, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2021. Jimmy was born on September 13, 1966 in Sterling, Illinois.

Jimmy is survived by his two daughters, Marisha Raye Landis and Maysun Kae Landis of Louisville, Kentucky. His twin sister Julie Ecker of Bedford, Indiana, his half siblings Cindy Linn & Sherrie McGill of Pensacola, FL and Doug Landis of Sterling, IL. And, many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Renner, his father Paul Landis and half brother’s Scott & Greg Landis.

Jimmy was a self employed flooring specialist in Louisville, KY and Orlando, FL, most recently in Saint Cloud, perfecting and brightening many friends’ and families’ homes for 30+ years.

Jimmy was an amazing father to his two girls, Marisha and Maysun. Jimmy had many friends in Kentucky and Florida, anyone who knew him, loved him.  Jimmy was selfless, kindhearted and would drop what he was doing in order to help a friend, family member, and even a stranger in need.  He put a smile on your face in a matter of seconds. Some of his fondest memories are from spending summers at Nolin Lake and on Florida beaches with his daughters. In his spare time you could find him outside soaking up every bit of sun he could get with a “pork chop” in his hand, or riding his bike along the gorgeous Lakeshore Dr.

Jimmy will be cremated and his ashes will be spread on a sunny beach, the place he loved the most. He is so loved and will be missed by so many.
