It was such a pleasure meeting your Mom at the Falls Mfg.Home Community. We all fell in love with her immediately with her wonderful personality and talent. We were facinated with her talent and enjoyed the shows she put on. We miss her tremendously and feel we have lost a part of our family. I hope that Joan knows in her heart how much she was loved by all the residents. We will remember her in our hearts forever. Edie and Sonny

Dearest Joan, it has been a pleasure knowing you these past few years. I want to thank you for devoting so much time in helping all the Falls singers. I hope you were able to hear Frankie sing to you at the hospital. You were the back bone of the Falls singers. I will miss your sweet smile and some day I hope to hear you play again and letting me know when to flick on the lights... Ray

God knew what he was up to when he sent Pete and Joan to live at the Falls. She gave so much pleasure to people by playing her music. She spoke to us by her lyrics, and I'm so blessed to have those many memories in my heart forever and most of all your "Can Do" attitude giving us confidence to stand up and sing. I know she is in heaven playing and watching over us. "I pray you'll be our eyes and watch us where we go; and tell us to be wise; in time when we don't know!!! I love you Joan.......Frankie.

Ten years too soon.... I was looking forward to ten or more years of visits, book exchanges, articles, cartoons, talks about travel, manatees, cole slaw, emails, postcards, potato salad, picnics, hearing stories of mom's adventures and updates on all the people she loved - more memories of all kinds.

Mom loved life! What a spirit.

Mom, what a privilege to be your daughter and friend. I miss you dearly. But we'll be in touch - always.
