To My Beloved “Sista”
Joanie’s passion for painting brought Her to places she wanted to be, And created beautiful spaces for us to enjoy and see. She could not resist babies wherever she went, And time with babies was time well spent. Her sense of followed her along the way, And she always had something nice to say. Her smile to others came shinning through, As she greeted all those she knew. I will always remember the laughter and times we shared, Along with the stories that showed we deeply cared. A sister’s bond is special and dear, It’s a special closeness that’s always near. My heart and soul are thankful for the moments we shared together, And I will miss our special times dear “sista”.

Joan was a wonderful and vibrant person. My wife Candy and I met her when we were kids. We have always held Joan and Mike as a role model for our marriage. As we have kept in touch over forty years and we have felt privileged to hold Joan in our hearts as family. We were very lucky to have visited with her and share a glass of wine, or two.
    Rest well Joan.
    Love,
    Candy, Jeff, and Leslie Garmon
