Special is a word that is used to describe something one of a kind, like a hug or a sunset or a person who spreads love with a smile or kind gesture. Special describes people who act from the heart and keep in mind the hearts of others.Special is the word that applies to someone that is admired and precious and that can not be replaced. Special is the word that best describes Joan.

Aunt Joan my heart is very heavy. Ever since I was able to come down and visit you way back I can remember the Roast Beef dinners you made with all the sides and fixins. I always felt your warmth and you made sure that we were always fed. You opened up your home to me like I always lived there. I'm also happy that my wife had the pleasure of meeting and breaking bread wth you once upon a time. She remembers your hospitality most of all. Rest in peace Aunt Joan for your life has not ended but merely changed. We love you!! God Bless You!!!

Mom my heart is broken, but I will go on knowing I had the best most caring, supportive and loving mother there ever was.
