I will miss hearing all the laughter, around our kitchen table, and listening to all your life’s adventures. Thank you for comforting us, when we lost our baby, Heather, we would have never gotten through it without your help and love.
You will always be a part of us, and we will cherish all the wonderful moments spent together.
Heaven just gained a big piece of happiness

Mom loved doing crafts.
Words cannot explain the emptiness that is in my heart now that you are no longer with us. I know Janet was looking forward to seeing you again when this pandemic is over and she moves down here. She considered you her best friend here in Florida as do I. I greatly enjoyed my time with you and George, especially going to those spaghetti dinners and playing cards and games at your home. I know we now have someone in heaven looking over us. My prayers will always be with you. This is not goodbye but only farewell until we meet again.
Your eternal friend,
Herman
Mom loved playing games.
You encouraged me to just be me since I was a little girl and always made me feel smart, loved, and beautiful. You felt my pain, shared my laughs, and gave me the best hugs in the world. I am so thankful to have gotten my love for reading and puzzles from you. I will forever cherish all of your letters, hats, quilts, jewelry, and crafts. I will also forever cherish our talks about Jesus, going to church with you, and the books you have given me to encourage me in my faith. I will share your love with everyone I meet and pass it down to my own kids one day! I love you a bushel and a peck!
Christmas Eve was one of my favorite days of the year because of Mom mom!
Sweet Mommom Jo.
Your laughter rang throughout the house whenever you were able to visit. You always had something new to share with everybody. A new game, a new craft. You loved being creative, you loved puzzles, and you spread that joy throughout our entire family. I love that I have so many things that you either made for me, or I learned to make from you, and I will treasure those forever. Our family still sits down to play kings in the corner when the power goes out, and I cannot wait to have George over to play Scat again. Don't worry! We'll keep him honest, and try not to let him win too often ;-)
I'll always miss your phone calls and your stories. You definitely lived a colorful life, and I know you've inspired me to do the same. I want to learn what you loved about Arizona so much. I want to visit the places you did and continue to learn from your stories, even though you aren't here to tell them anymore. I'll always think of you when I see turquoise or a cardinal. I'll always remember feeding the geese in media and how you always had coloring books in your closet for me.
You'll always be my Mom Mom Jo. I'm so glad you no longer have the burden of dementia weighing you down anymore. Have fun learning all the new things in heaven, without pain, without stress. Check in on all of us down here once in a while. We need your laughter to shine some sun on us every now and again. I love you.
