JoAnne (Edwards Yuckenberg) Weber, 87, of Ft Myers, passed to her eternal rest on June 30, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Cape Coral, FL. JoAnne was born on January 21, 1932 in Indiana Co., PA to George and Helen Edwards. A lover of the warm climate, JoAnne was a resident of Ft. Myers since 1973, after a brief time in Miami. She began to pursue a degree in Business Administration at the age of 50 and attended Edison Community College, graduating with high honors in 1987. She earned her real estate license in Miami in 1971 and did sales in Lee County for various agencies and on site sales until her retirement in 1992. At that time she married Ralph C. Weber. They enjoyed travel in their motor home throughout many states, until his death in 1996. JoAnne is a past member of the Ft Myers Board of Realtors, the Lee Building Industry Association and the Sales & Marketing Council of Lee County. JoAnne was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Fraternity, Daughters of the American Revolution, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Cachet Club, Democratic National Committee and a member of St Luke’s Episcopal Church since 1973. A music lover, she entertained with her keyboard at many club functions and was a member of the SW Florida Jazz Society and Friends of the Opera. JoAnne is survived by a daughter, Marianne Hulbert of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; grand daughters Kerry O’Brien of Muncie, Indiana and Amy Para and her husband, Jeff, of Greer, South Carolina, and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of friends and acquaintances. She was predeceased by her loving son, Thomas C. Yuckenberg.
