John David Bandy (77), of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away surrounded by loving wife and family on July 4, 2024.  John was born on November 14, 1946 in Riverside West Virginia.   He graduated in 1970 from the West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia. He married his high school sweetheart, Retha, and they shared 24 years of marriage, retiring in Ormond Beach, Florida.

John was predeceased in death by his parents, Charles and Rena Bandy, and his sister Sissy (Bandy) Livesay.

He is survived by his wife, Retha Bandy of Ormond Beach, his brother Chuck Bandy of Ormond Beach, daughter Laura Wright of Daytona Beach, stepdaughters Lisa Webster of Saugus Massachusetts and Dianna Dion and her husband David of Ormond Beach and stepson David Webster of Ormond Beach. He is also survived by grandchildren Alexis Bandy of Daytona Beach, Meagan MacDonald and her husband Bill of North Andover MA, and Michael Tkachuk and his wife Jennifer of Peabody MA and great-grandchildren Lilly Bandy, Tyler and Brooklyn MacDonald, and Maverick Tkachuk.
