John Paul Braddy
“Paul” 87, died July 13, 2021 at his home in Sorrento, FL. Paul was born in Dublin, GA on August 8, 1933 to Bernard C. and Dollie Braddy. He moved to Central Florida in 1936. He was a lifetime member of the Apopka Elks Lodge. He retired from his position as a route salesman at Velda Farms after more than 25 years and then worked at the Lake Jessup Toll Booth for more than 13 years before retiring a second time. Paul enjoyed fishing, family (including his fur babies), and friends. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, sister Edna Summersill, brothers Hugh and Wendell Braddy, and his wife of more than 33 years, Charlene C. Braddy. He is survived by his sister, Lalun Tindall, children Debbie Evans (Johnny), Paulette Prevatt (Carty), John “Michael” Braddy, Lorrie Buchanan (Allen), Kristie Jaundoo (Brian), 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. A graveside service will be held August 7, 2021 at 10AM at Seminole Cemetery, Eustis, FL, followed by a celebration of life luncheon at the home of Lorrie and Allen Buchanan, 26250 Biltmore St. Sorrento, FL.
