Obituary

John C. Yazurlo, 78, of Flagler Beach died peacefully at home after a long illness.  Originally, from Old Forge, PA he was a graduate of Penn State University and a member of the Penn State Club.  In 1986 John retired as Director Inspector General of the Department of Education.  In the mid 90’s, he retired as Finance Director of Daytona Beach Shores.  John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlene; two children, Lory and Leslie; five grandchildren, Joey, heather, Wesley, Lisa, Eric; three great grandchildren, Nate, Xavier and Kahliyah and sister, Elsie Carey of Ohio.  His great grandson Nate remarked “Papa John is looking down on us now”.  Arrangements will be announced at a later date.

    To the Yazurlo Family, May your memories of Yaz bring you comfort and peace, now and through the days ahead. Please know that the same God that welcomed him home will help carry you now. He was a good man who truly loved his family. Charlene and his girls, meant the world to him.

    Rest in Peace Daddy. You are finally where you prayed for weeks to be. You are w/family now - Lisa, Lynne, Danny, Mike, Eddy, Anne, Your mom,dad, other important family and friends. God welcomed you w/open arms and you are now in His glorious. X thinks we can visit you but Nate let him know you are watching down on us. We miss you so much and mom misses you. You were and always will be the most important man in my life and the first man I loved. You were so dignified and I hope one day to find a man like you. Enjoy your second and most important life.
