Farewell to John DelJuidice

John DelJuidice 73, passed away suddenly at his home in Ft. Myers on April 8th. John was born to Thomas and Anna DelJuidice in the Bronx, NY. A graduate of the school of hard knocks, John was a tradesman, business owner, and real estate entrepreneur.

A loving husband to Louise for 53 years, a mentoring father to his only son, Louis and embraced as his own daughter his daughter-in-law Selene. John doted on his two grandchildren Johnny and Victoria and regaled anyone who would listen about their accomplishments, from piano recitals to soccer goals.

John loved fast cars, a good laugh, great wine, delicious food, and his friends and family. He was a person who could light up a room with his presence, and the twinkle in his eye, and his warm demeanor will be sorely missed.

John is survived by his beautiful wife, his son and family, his brother Philip, sister-in-law Caroline, his in-laws Tom and Margaret, and his loving nieces and nephews, Carole Ann, Louise, Tommy, Michael and their families.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, Palomino Lane, Ft. Myers at 10:30 am.

As is only fitting for John, a second celebration will also be held in New York, details to follow.
