John “Jack” Dirga passed away June 4, 2018 after a brief hospitalization. He was born May 4, 1943 in Granville, NY and resided in Berlin, CT until his retirement in 2005. He was employed as an Environmental Engineer at Pratt and WHitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT. He resided in Lady Lake for the past at 12 years, moving recently to Summerfield, Fl. He was a member of the Sons Of The American Legion, Post 347 in Lady Lake where he was an active and frequent volunteer. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marty; son Bob Navy Commander of Newport, RI his wife Katie and 2 granddaughters; son, Christopher of Berlin, CT, his wife Kelly and unborn grandchild; and his extended family at the American Legion.
