Obituary

John Edward “Ed” Doyle from Port Orange, Florida died on March 13, 2023 after an extended hospital stay.  He was 79 years old.

Ed is survived by Jean, his wife of 55 years, son Jeffrey Doyle, daughter Jackie Doyle Meador (Tommy), and grandchildren Cassidy (Braxton), Cailyn, and Camden.  Surviving also are sisters Martha Bowers (Bill), Carolyn Keister (Ron), Pat Moser, and brother, Michael Doyle (Joan).  He is preceded in death by his parents John and Iva Doyle.

Ed retired and moved to Florida from Kentucky in 2005 to enjoy the warm weather with fellow Corvette enthusiasts.

At Ed’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

    Sending love and prayers to Ed’s family. Ed was a Corvette enthusiast and a great asset for the CCGD club with his extensive Corvette knowledge but he will be remembered most for being a caring friend who helped in anyway he could. I will hold on to all the memories of our friendship. R.I. P.

    Uncle Ed was great guy and always great to be around. Many great memories of uncle Ed from Johnson City,Tenn. Danville,Kentucky., and Pittsburgh,Pa. My our great Uncle Ed Rest in Peace and our condolences Aunt Jean,Jeff,and Jackie.

    Sending love and sympathy to Ed’s family. We never got to meet them but have heard many funny stories from sister Martha about growing up in the Doyle family. Memories hold treasures for a lifetime .
